Pada hari Jum’at, 5 Februari 2022, Program Studi Psikologi Pendidikan SPs UPI mengadakan IG Live yang mengangkat judul Let’s Move Our Body, Mind, and Soul. Kegiatan ini diadakan secara langsung (live) melalui akun resmi Prodi Psikologi Pendidikan, @psikopend_sps pada pukul 19.45 WIB dengan Ibu Diana, S. Psi., MT., Psikolog dan Kang Alwin M. Reza, M.Psi, Psikolog sebagai narasumber. Bincang-bincang santai namun sangat berbobot ini pun dilengkapi oleh host yang sangat interaktif yaitu Kang Agung Alamsyah, S.Pd, sehingga materi terkesan ringan dan sangat relate dengan gaya hidup kita dimasa pandemi ini.

Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Ibu Diana – yang kerap dipanggil Teh Anne – menyampaikan  bahwa kondisi pikiran dan jiwa seseorang sangat berhubungan erat dengan kondisi fisiknya. Ketika seseorang terlalu banyak duduk misalnya, selain memicu timbulnya berbagai penyakit, ternyata juga membuat orang tersebut mudah stress, mudah marah, merasa suntuk, tidak bergairah, hingga tidak mampu menangani pekerjaan ataupun tugas-tugasnya. Hal ini dikarenakan ada bagian otak yang ternyata juga terhubung dengan gerakan fisik yang jika tidak distimulasi akan memengaruhi kinerja bagian otak lainnya, termasuk bagian untuk berpikir (kognitif). Oleh karena itu, sebagai seorang Psikolog Olahraga sekaligus pengurus Ikatan Psikologi Olahraga (IPO), beliau menyarankan untuk rutin melakukan olahraga atau berpindah gerakan misalnya berdiri sejenak setelah duduk lama di meja kerja.

Kang Alwin menambahkan bahwa hendaknya kita tidak ‘mengkhianati’ sifat alamiah tubuh kita; seperti tidur saat waktunya tidur, tidak memaksakan begadang untuk mengerjakan suatu tugas hingga mengabaikan tidur. Ketika kita harus menyelesaikan tugas dalam suatu tenggat waktu, beliau menyarankan agar kita tidur dulu sejenak untuk kemudian bangun dini hari untuk melanjutkan tugas tersebut. Jika dipaksakan begadang, otak tidak akan mampu bekerja secara optimal karena secara alamiah sel-sel di otak akan beregenerasi ketika kita tidur. Kang Alwin meyakini bahwa manajemen waktu menjadi hal yang penting untuk bisa mengatasi hal ini, agar kita bisa bekerja maksimal tanpa harus menunggu deadline, ujar Psikolog Klinis sekaligus Founder Makna Wellness Centre Indonesia ini.

Dari kegiatan IG Live dapat disimpulkan bahwa ternyata kesehatan fisik berpengaruh terhadap kesehatan mental (psikologis) seseorang.
