Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Kementerian Kesehatan (Kemenkes RI) mengungkapkan hingga, Rabu (6/12/2023), total jumlah kasus terkonfirmasi mycoplasma pneumonia di Indonesia mencapai enam orang. Selain itu, beberapa negara tetangga pun mengalami peningkatan kasus Covid-19 dibandingkan bulan-bulan sebelumnya.

Menanggapi hal tersebut, Wakil Menteri Kesehatan Dante Saksono Harbuwono mengatakan diperlukan ketahanan di bidang kesehatan yang mencakup sistem dan ketahanan teknologi.

“Sistem kita sudah melakukan berbagai macam hal dari pengalaman menangani Covid-19, seperti kita punya lab deteksi dini di beberapa wilayah di Indonesia,” kata Dante dalam Road to CNBC Indonesia Awards ‘Best Healthcare Companies’, Rabu (6/12/2023).

Selain itu, Indonesia memiliki 52 alat sequencing DNA untuk mendeteksi varian virus Covid-19. Meski demikian, menurutnya tenaga kesehatan harus bersiap untuk menghadapi jika ada potensi pandemi baru.

“Kita melakukan sistem mitigasi lebih baik, dan paling penting membuat tenaga cadangan kesehatan yang nanti diperlukan apabila ada pandemi baru,” kata Dante.

Selain Singapura dan Malaysia, Indonesia juga dilaporkan mengalami peningkatan kasus yang signifikan. Semula tercatat 30 sampai 40 kasus dalam sepekan, tapi sekarang kasus mingguan mencapai 267 pasien di periode 28 November hingga 2 Desember 2023.

Peningkatan kasus Covid-19 dibarengi dengan kenaikan jumlah testing. Di sisi lain, ada dugaan varian baru yang memicu tingkat transmisi atau penularan lebih cepat dan lebih mudah menginfeksi.
