PELATIHAN PENINGKATAN KUALITAS GURU PAUD DENGAN MINDFUL PARENTING

Jum’at, 24 Juni 2022, Dinas Pendidikan Kota Cimahi bekerjasama dengan SEAMEO CECCEP dan Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Bandung mengadakan Pelatihan Peningkatan Kualitas Guru PAUD dengan Modul Mindful Parenting di Gedung PKG Kota Cimahi. Kegiatan ini berlangsung dari pukul 09.00 sampai dengan 15.00 WIB dengan Ketua Prodi Psikologi Pendidikan SPs UPI, Ibu Dr. Tina Hayati Dahlan, M.Pd., Psikolog sebagai narasumber. Pelatihan ini dibuka secara resmi oleh Kepala Bidang Pembinaan GTK, Bapak Juli Suprijadi, S.Pd., M.M. dan turut dihadiri oleh Kepala Seksi Pembinaan GTK SD, Bapak Kelik Andhi Yanto, S.Sos. selaku perwakilan dari Dinas Pendidikan Kota Cimahi. Ibu Elis Rosdiawati, M.Pd. selaku PLT Direktur SEAMEO CECCEP dalam sambutannya mengungkapkan bahwa SEAMEO CECCEP senang bisa berbagi pengetahuan tentang parenting ini kepada para guru PAUD yang telah hadir sekaligus mengenalkan organisasi SEAMEO CECCEP kepada mereka. Turut hadir pula Kepala Divisi Capacity Building SEAMEO CECCEP, Bapak Asep Subajga dan Ibu Assila sebagai Capacity Building Officer untuk memastikan kelancaran acara ini dari awal hingga akhir.

Dalam pelatihan ini, Ibu Dr. Tina Hayati Dahlan, M.Pd., Psikolog menyampaikan bahwa hakikat pengasuhan dan mindful parenting adalah mengasuh dengan eling dan welas asih dan juga menerima segala perilaku anak yang diharapkan maupun perilaku yang tidak diharapkan. Beliau juga mengajarkan bagaimana kita sebagai orangtua dan guru merespon segala perilaku anak dengan baik dan latihan sebelumnya dengan menggunakan prinsip mindful. Karena keterbatasan waktu, dari 6 modul mindful parenting yang sudah disusun oleh Ibu Tina dan tim, hanya beberapa modul saja yang bisa disampaikan kepada peserta. Tentunya, pihak-pihak terkait berharap agar pelatihan seperti ini akan bisa berlanjut dan lengkap sehingga dapat memberikan dampak yang lebih luas kepada para guru dan orangtua dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kompetensi mereka dalam mengasuh anak-anak baik di lingkungan sekolah maupun dalam keluarga.
